As of now, we plan to be in the UK for the summer. The one border crossing and required 90 days out of the Schengen countries made this an easy destination. For our next projects, we are going to stay at a castle on the Scottish Solway coast and then help on a canal boat in August. We will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on the road, again thanks to Zoom.
We don’t know what this Fall will bring. There are still a lot of precautionary measures at this time, but online we can book campsites or B&B stays that fit within the travel guidelines while traveling between projects. We are keeping an eye on the various EU border rules in order to prepare for our next destination. Each country is encouraging people to stay within their own “zones” of rules and health care. All the forms and requirements are clearly detailed online.
